Gig marketplace UX · 2025
Taro is a UX concept for a gig marketplace where people hire helpers for everyday tasks: dog walking, tutoring, home services. The challenge was designing a dashboard that handles job listings, real-time chat, offer negotiation, and reviews without overwhelming either side of the transaction.
I started with five personas spanning students, freelancers, and immigrants, each with different motivations (earning, learning, or both) and different comfort levels with technology.

User flows
The jobs view combines a thread list, live chat, and a detail panel for status, payment, and reviews. Hiring flows include storefront browsing, modal interactions for booking, and a dark-theme chat variant.
